The Research

A Longitudinal Health Dataset, Built at Scale

Most health research draws on data that is shallow, short-term, or narrow. Elytix is different: a large, diverse population, tracked over time.

Why this data is different

Snapshots Describe a Moment.
Series Describe a Life.

Most health data is a single snapshot — one blood panel, one survey, one point in time. Elytix is built differently: the same population, measured at least monthly, over months and years. That repeated measurement is rare in health research, and it is rare for a reason — sustaining it at scale is hard. It is also where the real research value lives: patterns that a single data point can never show.

Measured repeatedly, not once
Research Associates complete a scan at least monthly, so each participant contributes a continuing series rather than a single reading. Change over time — the part most datasets cannot see — is the primary signal.
A broad participant base
Participation is open work, not a clinical recruitment funnel, which widens the population well past the groups typically represented in health studies — across age, geography, and background.
A full panel per scan
Every scan returns a broad set of cardiovascular, respiratory, and autonomic indicators at once — see What the Scan Measures for the full panel.
Where the data goes

De-Identified,
Then Put to Work

Scan data goes through a formal de-identification and anonymization process before it is made available to research institutions studying population health trends. Participants know exactly what is collected and consent to its research use before their first scan — and what institutions receive afterward is measurement series, not identities. Nothing in the dataset is used to recognize, authenticate, or re-identify a participant.

Validating the technology

The Science Behind the Scan

Our scanning technology has been validated in independent accuracy studies across multiple countries, skin tones, and age ranges. Here is what the data shows.

Elytix’s scan is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, or provide medical advice.
