About Elytix

Elytix is a health research and data company. We collect longitudinal biometric data through non-invasive facial scanning and use it to advance research into human health and wellness. Research Associates are the people who make that research possible.

The role

This position is a participation role in Elytix’s Health and Wellness Research Study. The work is a monthly facial scan, completed on the Associate’s own phone. The scan reads subtle color changes in the skin through the device’s camera and produces a panel of twenty-two biomarkers covering cardiovascular, respiratory and stress measures.

Each Associate receives their own longitudinal biometric record — the kind of personal health insight that premium consumer health services charge hundreds to thousands of dollars a year to provide. Access begins with the first scan. Additional scans are unlimited and free.

Responsibilities

• Complete a minimum of one facial scan per calendar month through the Elytix platform. The session takes approximately fifteen minutes and can be completed from any location.
• Maintain active participation in the research protocol as a condition of employment.
• Provide accurate profile information through the platform as needed for research administration and benefit eligibility.

Compensation and benefits

• $40.00 per hour, billed in fifteen-minute increments, for research participation time. One scan per calendar month is compensated.
• Unlimited access to personal biometric scanning and longitudinal trend data at no cost, beginning with the first scan.
• Eligibility for Elytix’s employer-sponsored, self-funded ERISA group health plan and certain ancillary benefits.
• Flexible remote participation.

Requirements

• At least eighteen years of age.
• Eligible for W-2 employment in the United States.
• Access to an iPhone or Android phone.
• Willingness to review and accept the required employment, research participation, and biometric consent documents.

Elytix is not currently hiring in Washington State.

About the scan

The scan is not facial recognition. No facial-geometry template is ever created, matched, or stored. The measurement reads color changes in the skin through the device’s camera, and processing happens on the phone itself.

Data is retained in identifiable form for administering employment, delivering personal results, and verifying participation. It is de-identified before any external research, licensing, or commercial use. Full detail is in the Privacy Policy, Biometric Consent, and Research Participation Agreement, all of which are reviewed and accepted as part of the application.
